1. Founder story
See how Arianne grew Bell & Bone to 7 figures in revenue selling Australian made dog dental sticks. πΆ
Founderoo caught up with an Aussie founder Arianne Sackville who is running a 7-figure healthy dog treat business in an already saturated market. And to top it off, She did it by being bootstrapped and with only 3 employees to date! π΅
Weβre starting to see a trend π with successful founders, so many of them are good at finding solutions to seemingly impossible problems that most others walk away from. They then manage to overcome them with simple yet creative solutions.
Arianne needed to land a manufacturer who refused to work with her, by sending them weekly updates of her success, and running location-based targetted Facebook ads to the manufacturer to convince them to work with her π€―
Head over to Founderoo to check out her story for yourself. Itβs definitely worth a read!
2. Founder playbook
From Snowboards to Software: Tobi LΓΌtke's Journey to Building Shopify's $5.6 billion E-commerce Empire π
See how Tobi LΓΌtke turned his love for snowboarding into a world-changing platform: Shopify! π₯
π©πͺ Tobi LΓΌtke, a passionate self-taught programmer from Germany, faced learning disabilities like ADHD and dyslexia. Despite the odds, he carved out a successful career in software engineering. π
π When Tobi moved to Canada π for love, he combined his passion for snowboarding and tech skills to co-found Snow Devil, an online store with Scott Lake. The duo hustled, using Google ads and flyers to get their first customers. πͺ
π€ The custom software Tobi built for Snow Devil caught the attention of others. This sparked an idea: why not help entrepreneurs worldwide with an e-commerce platform? Shopify was born! π
π The turning point came when Tobi secured $7M in funding and embraced marketing. By 2013, Shopify had 80,000 customers and 300 employees. Today, it empowers 4 million+ merchants globally! π
π Tobi's story shows us that passion, determination, and the courage to pivot can lead to extraordinary success. He's still an entrepreneur at heart, even running a secret Shopify store selling socks! π§¦
Experience Tobi's emotional and inspiring journey yourself! π€©π
