1. Founder story
Joseph Lee's extraordinary journey: from candles to seafood to Supademo. Plus five-figures revenue in 1 year! π
π₯ "From making organic soy candles to delivering tens of thousands of pounds of seafood in a beat-up Ford F150, Joseph Lee's entrepreneurial journey has been anything but ordinary." π
π¨βπ» Lee, alongside co-founder Koushik Marka, has now built Supademo - an ingenious tool that lets anyone create interactive demos and guides in under 5 minutes! Their bootstrapped venture has already reached five-figure annual revenue in just a year! πΌ
π₯ Lee's journey is a masterclass in resilience, creativity, and the power of doing things that don't scale in the early stages of a startup. π―
π‘ "I absolutely love the zero-to-one process of going from idea to bringing delight to users around the world."
This attitude, coupled with their smart growth strategies and relentless drive, saw Supademo grow from zero to 2000 users in just five months! πͺ
π§ Lee's story is a testament to the power of daring to tread where there's no path and making one yourself. It's an entrepreneurial journey so compelling you can't help but be drawn in. π

The Journey to Wealth: How Noah Kagan Made His First Million. π
π‘π° "From earning a $55K salary at Intel to founding AppSumo, Noah Kagan didn't become a millionaire overnight. He hustled, adapted, and learned from each step of his journey. π
In 2004, fresh out of college, Noah joined Intel, earning an annual $55K. Unsatisfied, he used his free time to start side hustles. His key takeaway? If your job isn't fulfilling, use your free time to explore other income-generating ventures. πββοΈπΌ
Next, he moved to Facebook, boosting his salary by $10K. There he realized that employees can also build wealth, not just entrepreneurs. πΌπ‘
He then ventured into organizing conferences with CommunityNext. com, making roughly $200K profit. His lesson? Events can be lucrative, especially when they align with personal passions. π€π₯
In 2006, he joined Mint. com, earning $100K plus referral bonuses. It was here he discovered his desire to be his own boss, setting the stage for his entrepreneurial journey. ππ
While at Mint, he started building Facebook apps, learning the importance of riding industry waves and seizing opportunities early. ππ±
His next venture, Gambit, a gaming payments company, generated around $30 million in revenue (and slim profits), teaching him the difference between revenue and profit and the importance of enjoying your work. πΉπΈ
Consulting for Speed Date and starting AppSumo marked his next stage. It taught him about resilience, the ability to pivot, and working on significant problems. ππΌ
Fast forward to his million-dollar milestone with AppSumo, he learned about patience, the right location, and most importantly, loving your work. π π
Intrigued? Dive into Noah's journey and uncover the valuable lessons he learned at each stage of his path to becoming a millionaire. ππ

5. Quote
A smart quote from Seth Radman π€
The hardest part of being a founder is not:
- building a product
- hiring great people
- selling to customers
- meeting with investors
Itβs the daily discipline to show up and do these things over and over and over. Even when you donβt feel like it.
You donβt have to be the smartest or most experienced founder. Just show up every day and put in the the work.
Consistency always wins.
6. Fun fact: Richard Branson π
His Mum left by the side of the road when he was 5
When he was five, his fearless mom decided it was time for a tough life lesson. She left little Ricky on a countryside road and told him to find his way home. Ricky faced the challenge head-on, asked for directions, and made it back.
This bold move paid off as Ricky learned to see challenges as opportunities. Don't dwell on mistakes. Move on to the next big thing. Use your energy to fuel new projects instead of wasting time on the past.
